Met Gala 2021 - a move in the vegan direction

One of the biggest fashion events of the year...The Met Gala was held in New York last night and the theme this year was American Fashion.

This year, we are so happy to hear that the Met Gala served a plant based menu and one of the biggest stars on the red carpet; Billie Eilish (who looked spectacular) helped design her all vegan Oscar de la Renta gown. Billie only agreed to wear Oscar de la Renta if the company promised to terminate all fur sales. This is a fantastic step forward in our aim to be more mindful of our impact on the planet and hopefully means that other events and celebrities will follow suit.

As always, celebrities did not let us down, there were some really 'out there' looks and some absolutely beautiful gowns. Take a look for some nail inspiration of your own...
